Job summary

University Hospitals Tees invites a highly motivated pharmacist to join the clinical pharmacy leadership team, delivering strategy and overseeing the expanded clinical pharmacy service across sites. You will supervise senior pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists, technicians and support staff to ensure safe, effective use of medicines.

The role requires Band 8a level leadership, excellent clinical and management skills, and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with registered status and proven leadership in a hospital setting (Band 8a level or above).
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration across service lines are essential.
• Commitment to inclusive recruitment and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management to the clinical pharmacy team.
• Develop and deliver a coordinated clinical pharmacy service across Clinical Service Units.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and innovation within the department.
• Ensure compliance with national guidance and audits.
