Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a suitably experienced pharmacist to lead on exceptional service delivery within a clinically focused team. The role focuses on professional development, mentoring pharmacists, technicians and the wider multidisciplinary team, while delivering high standards of pharmaceutical care.

The successful candidate will have post-graduate clinical pharmacy qualifications, substantial hospital experience and a proven ability to

Qualifications

MPharm degree (or equivalent) and GPhC registration.
Post-graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy; Master’s preferred.
Non-medical prescribing; CPD evidence across post-qualification education.
Proven hospital clinical pharmacy experience and ward services.
Experience in mentoring staff and leading a team.

Responsibilities

Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to in-patients per Trust policy.
Lead, organise and develop pharmacy team services and workload.
Offer professional advice at divisional management level.
Provide leadership, supervision and training to pharmacists, technicians and assistants.
Develop audit activity and participate in clinical trials and research.
