Key Responsibilities
  • Medicines Optimisation: Contribute to the Trust’s agenda by ensuring the delivery of safe, clinically effective, and cost-efficient pharmacy services.
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in establishing local policies and guidelines that promote good prescribing practices.
  • Service Flexibility: Ensure our service provision is adaptable and responsive to the needs of our patients.
  • Education and Training: Participate in the education and training programs for pharmacy and clinical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) within the Trust, providing expert advice on medication.
  • Quality Improvement: Support the department and Trust in meeting audit agendas and quality improvement objectives.
  • Professional Development: Pursue or complete a clinical diploma to enhance your expertise and contribute to our medicines optimisation efforts.
