Job summary

A leading healthcare practice in Manchester is seeking a motivated Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to manage safe and effective medicines management. In this role, you will engage with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and enhance access to healthcare. Responsibilities include conducting medication reviews, supporting prescription queries, and delivering clinical leadership on medicines optimisation. The ideal candidate should have at least 12 months of general practice experience and be a registered Clinical Pharmacist with the GPhC.

Qualifications

  • 12+ months experience working in general practice or primary care.

  • Act within professional boundaries as a Clinical Pharmacist-IP.
  • Conduct polypharmacy medication reviews.
  • Provide expert advice on medications to clinicians and patients.
  • Support practice staff with prescription queries.
  • Deliver clinical leadership on medicines optimisation.
