Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services including immunizations and MTM interventions. The role ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies while enhancing patient care and service quality across Walgreens locations.

The pharmacist will maintain licensure, pursue required certifications, and support patient education and health services such as vaccination programs and drug therapy reviews.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services such as immunizations and MTM interventions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ensure Good Faith Dispensing and compliance with state/federal controlled substance laws.
• Maintain current knowledge and required licensing/credentials and pursue ongoing education.
• Support patient experience by offering services, counseling and care-focused interactions.
