The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading private healthcare provider with a nationwide network. This bank role is on an "as and when required" basis to supplement staffing during busy periods and cover for annual leave or illness.

As Clinical Pharmacist, you will review medications for inpatients and outpatients, advise patients on treatment plans, support safe prescribing, and ensure medicine availability in collaboration with staff.

Qualificações

• MPharm/BSc/BPharm degree mandatory
• GPhC registration required
• Clinical hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of therapeutics, guidelines and legislation
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Autonomous working and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient with electronic prescribing and medication administration systems (EPMA)

Responsabilidades

• Conduct medication reviews for inpatients and outpatients.
• Provide tailored advice to patients on treatment plans, side effects, and adherence.
• Support safe prescribing through reconciliation, clinical screening, and dose adjustment.
• Review and authorise prescriptions in line with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Promote safe and cost-effective use of medicines per local/national policies.
• Collaborate with procurement, stock control and pharmacy technicians to ensure medicine availability.
• Monitor and report medication incidents per MHRA guidance.
