The Role

The Clinical Operations Manager / Lead will oversee and deliver clinical programmes across early and late-stage oncology studies. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, mission-driven biotech at a formative stage, shaping the clinical operations strategy and execution framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, start-up, execution, and delivery of oncology clinical trials.
  • Manage CROs, vendors, and clinical sites, ensuring quality and on‑time delivery.
  • Drive all aspects of study start‑up, including site feasibility, selection, activation, and essential documentation.
  • Develop and implement clinical operations strategies, budgets, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with translational science, regulatory, and programme teams to align operational goals.
  • Build scalable systems and processes for efficient trial management and oversight.
Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Life Sciences or related field.
  • Proven experience in clinical operations within biotech or pharma, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in oncology and/or cell therapy is necessary.
  • Demonstrated expertise in study start‑up and clinical trial execution.
  • Skilled in vendor management, project planning, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Hands‑on, proactive leader with exceptional communication and organisational skills.
