Clinical Operations Lead – Biotech (Oncology, Phase II, Specialty Care)
Permanent | Remote (London Based) | Competitive Salary + Benefits

I’m partnering with a science-led biotech focused on advancing innovative therapies in specialty care oncology, now seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Lead to drive their next Phase II oncology programme.

This is a pivotal opportunity for a senior clinical operations professional to take full ownership of global trial delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, shaping study strategy and execution within an agile biotech setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end operational management of assigned Phase II oncology trials.
  • Oversee CROs, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery to time, budget, and quality.
  • Provide strategic input into study design, feasibility, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage trial budgets, timelines, and key milestones across multiple global sites.
  • Ensure GCP compliance, inspection readiness, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Development, Biometrics, Regulatory, and Quality functions.
  • Act as the operational point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in Clinical Operations within biotech or pharma.
  • Proven track record of leading global oncology trials, ideally in Phase II.
  • Strong vendor management and leadership experience.
  • Sound knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical development processes.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  • Based in London (remote role with occasional on-site meetings).
