A leading end-of-life charity is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide palliative care in London. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in specialist palliative care, excellent communication skills, and be a registered NMC nurse. This full-time role offers a fixed-term contract until early 2027, with competitive salary and benefits including annual leave and professional development opportunities.
Are you an experienced palliative care nurse with a genuine passion for innovation and continuous improvement? At Marie Curie, we are excited to invite a highly driven and enthusiastic individual to join our new service at the North Middlesex University Hospital.
In this role, you will be responsible for actively identifying patients in the Emergency Department who are likely in their last year of life, providing specialist palliative care and facilitating their prompt discharge to appropriate care providers, aligned with patients' preferred place of care.

The care and support we provide is highly valued by thepeople we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reachingaround 10% of dying people at the end of life.Right now, one infour people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or supportthey deserve at the end of their lives.
Wewant a different society than the one we live in now. Our mission for the nextfive years is to close the gap in the number of people missing out on what theyneed at the end-of-life.
You will also managenursing services for individuals with terminal illnesses, supporting theirloved ones, and collaborating with health professionals. As a vital member ofour multidisciplinary team, you will offer expert advice and support, managinga caseload of patients with complex needs while ensuring the highest standardsof care.
This roleexemplifies person-centred leadership, clinical excellence, and effectivemultidisciplinary collaboration, all of which are crucial for Marie Curie toachieve its strategic goals. You will be expected to adhere to relevant legal,ethical, capability, and clinical frameworks, as well as Marie Curies policiesand procedures, taking accountability for your actions within the scope of yourrole.
