Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) invites applications for a Community CNS with Non-Medical Prescriber and Mental Health Nursing qualifications. The post focuses on working with CYP and their families to promote recovery and reduce inpatient admissions, in the community across Norfolk and Suffolk.
You will work alongside core community teams, provide consultation, prescribe and review medications, and contribute to assessments and MDTs.
This year CATAT have been given the opportunity to expand the team with several different posts, some of which have already been filled. But we do have a post that has now become vacant for a CNS – this CNS needs to have their qualification of Non-Medical Prescriber as well as a Mental Health Nursing qualification. CATAT who after our first year of being live (2023) was highly recommended for the Working Together for Better Mental Health at the staff excellence awards. Are looking for professionals that have a keen interest of working with CYP and their families, wanting to help them achieve better outcomes for their future and stride to keep them in the community.
The aim of our team is to prevent CYP from having inpatient admissions wherever possible, and to support them and their family in the community in a proactive way. The team will serve as a gateway in and out of Tier 4 (T4) provision. CATAT work alongside the core community teams as well as partner agencies to offer CYP increased/additional support.
