At the Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice and community nursing services across Berkshire West, we look after people living with life-limiting conditions and offer support for families too.

About the role

Their role enhances the overall quality of palliative care and supports the healthcare team in delivering the best possible outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Palliative Care Nurse who wants to work in a supportive environment where care of the patients comes first.

Travel will be coordinated from the Theale base. Responsibilities will include responding to telephone calls, offering appropriate clinical advice, and supporting the wider team to deliver high-quality care across both settings.

The successful candidate will also be expected to have a strong interest in completing their Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP) course as part of their ongoing professional development.

About you

The successful applicant will play an active role within our team. Sue Ryder prides itself on giving our patients the best possible quality of life by providing a holistic and individualised service.
