Clinical Negligence Solicitor (1-4 years')

A reputable firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its established team in Edinburgh. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value claims within a supportive and technology-enabled environment, with a strong focus on client care and quality outcomes.

The role provides early exposure to challenging work, client contact and responsibility, alongside appropriate supervision and support. There will also be opportunities to assist with the supervision of junior colleagues, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a caseload of complex clinical negligence claims
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and other legal documents in clear, accessible language
  • Leading client meetings and supporting negotiations where appropriate
  • Ensuring files are progressed efficiently, compliantly and in line with deadlines
  • Supporting junior solicitors and paralegals within the team
  • Managing financial and performance aspects of matters
About You
  • Qualified solicitor in Scotland
  • 1-4 years' PQE with experience in personal injury or clinical negligence
