Clinical Mental Health Pharmacist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding and highly supportive inpatient team as a Clinical Mental Health Pharmacist.

The post is based at The Harbour Hospital in Blackpool, covering a range of Mental Health wards including Psychiatric Intensive Care Units, Acute Admissions, Dementia, Elderly, Advanced Care Wards and a 136 suite.

Main duties of the job

The post will provide an opportunity for the following:

  • Pharmaceutical care planning and clinical review of prescriptions

  • Supporting development of robust medicines management processes
  • Actively working to deliver the Trust medicines optimisation strategy
