A regional healthcare provider in Scunthorpe is seeking a Clinical Lead to oversee the Primary Care Routine Pathway in mental health. The role involves clinical leadership, liaising with various health services, and ensuring high standards of care are met. To work within the Primary Care Routine Pathway to provide clinical leadership and undertake all aspects of clinical duties as a clinical lead within the team.
Liaising with primary, secondary and tertiary services/providers in the ongoing development of mental health services in the locality.
You will ensure that the care delivered is excellent and in keeping with the most up‑to‑date guidelines and best practice.
To work with carers/family members as necessary to provide a thorough bio‑psychosocial assessment of their needs. Carers and significant others will be involved where appropriate in collection of risk information and in the development of a management plan.
To provide clinical leadership and take an advisory and supervisory role in partnership with the clinical team in managing cases.
To lead and present complex, sensitive, and challenging clinical and professional communication processes that may impact on service users, carers, staff, the team, the organisation, partner agencies and members of the public, where there are barriers to understanding.
Safeguarding the health and wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults, by being familiar with and adhering to Trust safeguarding policies and participating in relevant training.
You will provide a modelling role to all staff; ensuring standards of care are met.
