Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to lead the occupational therapy and peer support team at The Chichester Centre. The role focuses on recovery, risk assessment, vocation and education within a forensic mental health setting.

You will lead on service developments, coordinate the OT programme and work with a multidisciplinary team to support service users toward meaningful activities and social inclusion.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with degree and HPC registration.
• Evidence of post-qualification study and education interventions.
• Experience with standardized OT assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the OT and peer support team and participate in local leadership.
• Drive service development and quality improvement projects.
• Coordinate the OT therapeutic programme and risk assessments.
• Deliver group and individual interventions and enable social inclusion.
