Job summary

Prime Life Ltd. is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead for Tanworth Court in Solihull. The role covers 38.5 hours weekly with a 14-day rolling rota and on-call duties.

You will lead nursing staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, ensure medicines management, and maintain compliance with NMC and CQC standards. The ideal candidate has an up-to-date NMC pin, strong clinical management skills, and a caring ethos.

Qualifications

• Must have proven good clinical background and an up-to-date NMC pin.
• Demonstrate clinical management abilities and a caring ethos.
• Experience leading nursing teams and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing services in liaison with the Care Home Manager.
• Lead the team; ensure rotas are in place for smooth operation.
• Promote and maintain high standards of nursing care and the home environment.
• Induct new staff; supervise, mentor, and assess student nurses.
• Comply with NMC Code and CQC standards; follow Prime Life policies.
• Plan, direct and deliver person-centred care; champion independence.
• Oversee medicine management and audits; take corrective action as needed.
• Conduct staff appraisals; support development through supervision.
• Train the nursing team with Prime Life Workforce Development.
• Maintain documentation and reports reflecting practice and development.
• deputise for Care Home Manager and manage the building in their absence.
• Provide emergency treatment when required; be accountable to Care Home Manager.
• Attend team meetings and Prime Life appraisal process.
