Job summary

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Macclesfield is seeking a Band 6 Clinical Lead to join our Dementia Assessment Unit at Silk Ward. The post offers a permanent contract for 37.5 hours per week, with shifts across 7 days, including nights.

The successful applicant will be an NMC registered nurse (RMN or RNLD) with leadership and audit experience, responsible for clinical leadership, risk management and continuous service development within the ward.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse RMN or RNLD.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Experience in leadership or supervision and audit processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the ward team to promote high-quality patient care.
• Undertake audits of evidence-based interventions to ensure best practice.
• Engage with the MDT to ensure holistic, patient-centred care planning.
• Assess, evaluate and advise on care planning and discharge planning.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in risk identification and management.
• Develop ways to improve efficiency and patient care.
