Clinical Lead Case Manager - Brain / Spinal Injuries - Midlands

Location : Home-based with travel

Hours : Full time (35hrs / week)

Salary : £60,000 - £65,000 DOE

Remit

Compass Associates is excited to be working with a well‑established and expanding business, to recruit a Clinical Manager for the Midlands region.

This is a newly created role with an organisation which provides specialist case management services for adults and children who have backgrounds of traumatic and catastrophic brain and spinal injuries. Your working week will be split between holding a small clinical caseload and providing training, supervision and support to up to five Case Managers.

In addition to the above, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the senior management team, contribute to service development, be involved in the recruitment of new Case Managers and liaise regularly with legal referrers, families and carers.

Location

This is a home‑based role where you’d manage your own diary and visit your clients in the Midlands. There will also be occasions where you may be required to attend meetings in Liverpool or London. The locations of clients on your caseload will be dependent on referrals, specialism required and clinical need but could be across Birmingham, Dudley, Walsall, Coventry, Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Redditch, Worcester, Nuneaton, Kidderminster and surrounding towns.

Essential criteria
  • Recognised Nursing, Social Work or Therapy degree (e.g. Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy)
  • Full registration with either the HCPC, NMC or SWE
  • Experience working as a Case Manager within the medico‑legal sector
  • Previous experience supervising / mentoring junior Case Managers
  • UK driving licence and access to own car
Interview Process

Informal Teams with the Operations Director followed by a formal interview with two Senior Clinical Managers.
