Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to provide visible clinical leadership across Community Hospitals. The post supports APs and trainee APs to develop and thrive within a transformative service.
You will lead governance, education and development for Advanced Practice, supervise and mentor APs, and maintain regular advanced clinical practice while guiding the wider MDT to deliver high-quality patient care.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Directorate at a time of service development and transformation.
Working alongside the Service Director, Clinical Director and Medical Leadership Team, you will provide visible and credible clinical leadership across Community Hospitals, supporting our APs and trainee APs to develop and thrive. Working with senior clinical and operational colleagues, you will help shape our Advanced Practice workforce, strengthen governance and education, and ensure Advanced Practitioners are at the heart of developing high-quality patient care.
Working collaboratively with senior clinical and operational colleagues, the post holder will lead the development of robust governance, education and development arrangements for Advanced Practice. They will support APs and tAPs to develop across the four pillars of Advanced Practice, providing clinical and educational supervision, mentorship, coaching and pastoral support.
The post holder will maintain a visible clinical presence, undertaking regular advanced clinical practice within our inpatient physical health services and providing expert advice, leadership and supervision to APs and the wider multidisciplinary team.
