Clinical Lead - Domiciliary Care

Care Birmingham are long established Domiciliary care provider based in Kingstanding Birmingham. We are looking for a Clinical Lead to oversee the care packages of clients who fall into the TDDI bracket as defined by CQC (Treatment of disease, disorder or injury).

This role would be suitable to a Registered Nurse who is looking for additional responsibilities. Although adhoc working may be required due to the nature of the role, the role is for 1 day a month at a rate of £300 per month.

The Clinical Lead would be responsible for :
  • Explaining the procedures for administering treatments, medications, or therapies as prescribed by qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure staff are trained and competent in providing treatment safely and effectively to these individuals.
  • Address documentation requirements, including medication administration records. Complete and continually update care plans promoting person centred care and independence.
  • Liaise with other professionals to ensure care and processes are safe.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Oversee the package and delivery of care for these individuals.
  • Complete monthly checks of equipment.
