Job summary

NHS England is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to join a multi-professional team delivering specialist informatics support and clinical assurance across the NHS App portfolio and other digital products within the Transformation Directorate.

You will help shape the safe delivery of national programmes, support clinicians to provide better care, and provide a clinical voice to programme teams, including involvement in Programme Boards and Clinical Advisory Groups.

Qualifications

• Registered and regulated health or care professional with high level specialist informatics knowledge
• Trained Clinical Safety Officers (CSOs)

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical informatics support across NHS App portfolio
• Assure clinical safety in national programmes and digital health products
• Lead and support clinicians and provide clinical input in Programme Boards and Advisory Groups
