Job description
Overview

The Clinical Informatics / Digital Specialist Health Visitor/ School Nurse works collaboratively with nursing, admin, IT staff, and key stakeholders to support and deliver outcome‑based care for children and young people (CYP) and their families. This role involves promoting the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to enhance health, health research and healthcare delivery. The post holder will plan, implement and manage a portfolio of projects across the 0‑19 teams under the supervision of a 0‑19 Neighbourhood Lead.

Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • nursing communication, engagement, training, and go‑live support
  • providing specialist clinical knowledge, advice and guidance relating to clinical informatics and digital transformation
  • improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian and ethnic minorities background, who identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
  • widening access (anchor institution) and employability
  • improving the experience of staff with disability
  • improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
  • making equalities mainstream
