Clinical Homecare Nurse - Bournemouth (Part Time)

We are seeking a part‑time dedicated NMC registered nurse in the Bournemouth area to join our healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care and administering a range of medications. This role requires a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to putting the patient first.

Your role

As more patients are treated outside hospital settings, the home‑care nurse role is evolving. We work in clinics, residential accommodation and patients’ own homes, and sometimes in schools or workplaces. Our nurses help the NHS meet the needs of elderly, disabled or vulnerable patients who may not be able to visit the hospital and support patients to become more independent and make their treatment journey more convenient.

Duties
  • Perform patient observations and ensure patients are fit for treatment.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and families.
  • Educate patients and families to promote understanding and independence.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams ensuring patient safety.
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration.
  • Experience administering SC, IM or IV medications.
  • SACT experience.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to work autonomously.
  • Attention to detail.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Salary £35,000 to £38,000 pro rata (depending on experience).
  • Hours: 22.5 hours per week.
  • Car allowance.
