Job summary

A healthcare provider in Wells is seeking an office administrator to support operations. Ideal candidates will possess good communication skills, a basic qualification to A Level, and be able to work in a busy office environment. Experience in the NHS is desirable but not mandatory. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a supportive team dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

Essential criteria
  • Good basic level of education to "A" Level standard or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • Office administration qualification
  • European Computer Driving License (ECDL)
Experience/ Knowledge
Essential criteria
  • Working as part of a team
  • Worked within a busy office environment
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft applications such Word, Excel database
  • Knowledge of NICE guidance
  • Experience in data entry using sometimes complex databases
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present data clearly using basic statistics
  • Knowledge and experience in identifying, monitoring and resolving data quality issues
  • Understanding of Information Governance
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience of working in a healthcare environment or in the NHS.
  • Knowledge or a full range of secretarial procedures and IT software programmes
  • Knowledge of InPhase
  • Have an understanding of clinical audit
  • Patient Administration Systems for retrieval of patient records.
