The Clinical Governance Officer (CGO) supports the operational delivery of Pharmaxo's Integrated Governance and Quality Risk Management Framework (iGQRM) to ensure safe, effective, and patient‑centred clinical homecare services.
The postholder deputises for the Clinical Governance (CG) Manager / Registered Manager and line‑manages the Quality Coordinator (Patient Safety) team.
The CGO coordinates key governance activities including quality improvement, incident and complaint investigations review and response, risk management, patient experience and clinical audit. Working across clinical and non‑clinical teams, the role helps embed a culture of learning, safety and continuous improvement.
The CGO is the organisation's primary contact for governance systems and enquiries‑covering incidents, complaints, claims, audits and risk, ensuring information and records are accurate, timely and aligned with organisational policies, Good Practice (GxP) expectations and CQC requirements.
