A regional healthcare provider in the North East of England is seeking an experienced radiographer to lead clinical governance at Darlington Memorial Hospital while rotating through Bishop Auckland and Sedgefield. Are you a radiographer with a keen attention to detail, innovative and committed to continual improvement? The role is for an experienced radiographer to lead and develop our clinical governance activities at Darlington Memorial Hospital, rotating through Bishop Auckland and Sedgfield where required. The successful applicant will implement, develop and expand our existing clinical governance programme and drive best practice, safe working, and the delivery of excellent patient care.
The postholder will undertake diagnostic radiography using highly complex equipment; liaise with service users to promote an efficient service; coordinate clinical governance and quality assurance activities; maintain technical standards and radiation safety; oversee IRMER related tasks; monitor and maintain quality assurance protocols; and lead departmental governance and audit activities.
We provide healthcare services from two acute sites – Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham – and service the wider region, including Bishop Auckland, Sedgfield, Sedgefield, and numerous community hospitals.
