An NHS Trust in the UK seeks a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to provide specialist forensic psychology services aimed at adults with learning disabilities. Applicants should hold a relevant master's degree and current HCPC registration. The role includes assessments, therapeutic interventions, and supervision of trainees. Competitive salary of £50,008 to £56,908 per annum along with benefits such as a high-cost area allowance. A driving license is required for business purposes.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to work in a forensic community learning disability team. You would be part of the multidisciplinary community forensic team, providing a forensic psychology service including assessment, intervention and evaluations focused on rehabilitation in the community. To offer input as required to other services within the forensic and specialist learning disabilities in within the Service Line.
You will be well supported through regular clinical and managerial supervision as well as training to develop both professionally and personally within the role. There are many CPD opportunities.
Experience in an community setting is not required for this role and we would consider newly qualified psychologists or those close to the end of their qualification.
The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

The High‑Cost Area (HCA) allowance, also referred to as London Weighting, is a payment made to employees who work in London and the surrounding areas. As this post is based in Dartford, Gravesham or Swanley, the successful applicant will receive an additional payment each month: 5% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,303 per year and a maximum payment of £2,198 per year (the agreed annual amount will be divided into 12 equal amounts and paid monthly).
