A leading healthcare trust in the UK seeks a Urology Specialist for their Fellowship Programme in Colchester. The role involves performing specialized surgical procedures, conducting outpatient clinics, and participating in clinical governance and education of junior staff. The Colchester Urology Fellowship Programme is designed to provide mid‑grade training posts at Specialist Registrar and post SPR level. The programme has seven fellows in rotation with one Specialty Trainee on the East of England Rotation. A number of previous post holders have gone on to specialised further fellowships or Consultant Urologist posts via Portfolio Pathway (previously CESR) (Article 14). The Urology unit currently has eight consultants with individual sub‑speciality interests that allow them to provide SPR level mentoring. Three consultants specialising in oncology perform laparoscopic and robotic radical prostatectomy as well as laparoscopic and robotic nephrectomy. One consultant specialises in robotic and laparoscopic nephrectomy and pyeloplasty. The post holder will be employed as a whole time Urology Specialist on the basis of 10 sessions. The post involves:
