Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Clinical Fellow in Regional Anaesthesia at Frimley Park Hospital. This 12‑month fellowship is designed for senior trainees with FRCA (or CCT) seeking specialised regional anaesthesia training.
The post offers hands-on practice in ultrasound-guided blocks, catheter techniques, teaching opportunities, and involvement in research and audit within a supportive NHS environment.
We have a new opportunity to join our Anaesthesia Team at Frimley Park Hospital as a Clinical Fellow in Regional Anaesthesia.
The post is for 12 months commencing either August 2027, February 2028 or August 2028.
The Fellowship is aimed at senior trainees who are in possession of the FRCA (or equivalent) or CCT holders seeking specialised training in regional anaesthesia. The Fellowship can be adapted to support the Fellow in developing specific interests.
This Fellowship provides advanced training in regional anaesthesia, enabling the post-holder to develop expertise in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and continuous catheter techniques while working towards the ESRA Diploma.
The role includes hands-on clinical practice, opportunities to teach on local training courses, and involvement in research, audit and service development projects.
