Position Overview

Applications are invited for a Paediatric Clinical Fellow. The Paediatric Service is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed clinical fellow to work full time at the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

The Trust is committed to working in partnership with colleagues in the Tees Valley Integrated Care Partnership and wider North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care System. As such, the team will work as part of a wider network at times to strengthen care pathways and support ongoing workforce development.

Qualifications

Doctors should be fully registered with the General Medical Council and comply, in particular, with the GMC’s guidance on ‘Good Medical Practice’. A firm grounding in neonatal care and general Paediatrics is required.

Responsibilities
  • 40 hours per week with out of hours duties for middle grade on call. Duties include outpatients.
  • Successful candidate is also expected to provide cover on weekends as on-call.
  • This post is for 40 hours per week, with no out of hours duties for tier one doctor in the community paediatrics.
  • Duties include outpatient clinics.
  • Opportunity to attend teaching and training sessions.
  • Development of a special interest will be encouraged.
Location & Employment
  • South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust now form University Hospitals Tees and you may be required to work at any site across both Trusts.
  • This post is for 40 hours per week.
