Overview

Clinical Fellow (Trust Doctor) – Paediatric General Surgery at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, based in St Thomas’ Hospital with day case activity at Lewisham Hospital. Full‑time, 12‑month term, salaried grade ST3‑ST8. The post is not a recognised training post but provides registrar level experience, study leave, a named surgical educational supervisor and an active educational programme.

Responsibilities

• Work an on‑call system within a team of six middle‑grade doctors and three paediatric urology colleagues on a 1:9 rota.
• Gain registrar level experience in general and specialist paediatric surgery, including neonatal, colorectal, thoracic and minimally invasive surgery.
• Contribute to a full shift system and comply with the Junior Doctor Contract.
