A prestigious healthcare institution is seeking a Clinic Fellow in Epilepsy and Sleep Medicine at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. This role involves developing consultant-level expertise through clinical responsibilities and active engagement in research and teaching. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to embedding professional development through research publications and participation in relevant meetings.
Start Date: 01 December 2025
This fellowship spans clinical, research and teaching in epilepsy and sleep medicine, aiming to develop consultant‑level expertise for the successful applicant. The post will provide sub‑specialist experience in complex epileptology and sleep medicine, additional epilepsy research, and training in autoimmune aspects of epilepsy.
Actively contribute to clinical epileptology research within the Oxford neuroscience portfolio, deliver an independent research project and secure at least one first‑author publication. Encourage teaching of medical students and junior doctors, and attend relevant meetings across OUHFT and the University of Oxford.
Excellent library facilities available at The John Radcliffe Hospital and other central Oxford Libraries. The Fellow may participate in teaching, audit, and research, demonstrating professional development by attending relevant meetings and producing at least one peer‑reviewed publication during tenure.
