A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Clinical Genetics focusing on rare diseases and cancer. The role requires flexibility for various consultation methods and potential travel to clinics. Participation in audits and clinical governance is encouraged. This is an opportunity to contribute to teaching and research in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Applications for a Clinical Fellow in Clinical Genetics in Rare Diseases and/or Cancer are welcome. The clinical fellow would need to show some flexibility in accordance with the demands of the service and be able to provide both face-to-face, virtual, and telephone consultations. There may need to be a degree of flexibility on the working days in the week. Some travel to peripheral clinics will probably also be required. It would be possible for the clinical fellow to indicate an interest in certain groups of conditions, which may then be channelled to the clinical fellow's clinics. The clinical fellow would be encouraged to participate in audit and the departmental clinical governance.
