Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Fellow in Gynaecological Oncology within the Women’s Health Division at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post is based at the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing, a leading centre for women’s health and cancer care, and offers excellent exposure to complex oncological case management within a highly specialised, research‑active environment.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of high‑quality care for patients within the Gynaecological Oncology service
  • Participate in outpatient and follow‑up clinics, multidisciplinary team meetings, inpatient ward rounds, and theatre sessions, including robotic and complex oncological surgery
  • Work closely with consultants and subspecialty trainees to coordinate patient care across the cancer pathway
  • Contribute to departmental research, audit, and quality improvement projects, with opportunities for academic development and presentation of findings
  • Engage in ongoing research and audit projects within the department, with support for academic development

Additional Information

The role is a 12‑month appointment with an immediate start. The clinical fellow will play an active role in all aspects of gynaecological oncology, including outpatient clinics, multidisciplinary team meetings, and theatre lists involving advanced and robotic surgery.
