As a Clinical Fellow, you will provide day-to-day medical care for patients undergoing specialist inpatient rehabilitation following acquired brain injury. Patients have a wide range of medical, neurological and rehabilitation needs, from routine medical management to the occasional acute deterioration requiring transfer to the acute hospital. Many patients also experience cognitive, behavioural and communication difficulties as a consequence of their brain injury. You will take a leading role in the general medical management of patients while working closely with experienced Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine, Neuropsychiatry and Neuropsychology, who are readily available to provide support and specialist advice.
