Job description

This Clinical Exercise Physiologist post sits in the Wirral cardiovascular rehabilitation service at Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, also supporting the bariatric exercise pathway for its weight management service. The core work is co-ordinating, delivering and developing a cardiac rehabilitation and prevention programme within a multi-disciplinary team. The split across cardiac and bariatric clients sets this apart from a single-pathway role. Fit turns on a 2:1 BSc in Exercise Physiology or a closely related subject.

Experience

• Facilitating group and individual exercise sessions for different client or patient groups
• Facilitating group education sessions

• Up-to-date knowledge of national and local strategies to reduce cardiovascular disease
