Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience working as a Clinical Engineering Tech I, or equivalent, is required.
• Associate degree or Biomedical Technician Certificate preferred; education will be verified.
• Experience in assigned medical equipment environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Full understanding of medical equipment, human anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology.
• Troubleshooting and repair of equipment to perform repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on medium and some high-risk devices.
• Use tools and test equipment for job duties.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard PHI.
• Use CMMS for documentation.
• Understand regulatory requirements pertaining to medical equipment management.
