A regional ambulance service provider is seeking experienced healthcare educators to deliver clinical education programmes for the ambulance workforce, focusing on EMT and paramedic training. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in training and assessment, along with relevant educator qualifications. This full-time position based in Preston involves delivering high standards of emergency care training and may require travel. A postgraduate level education and strong leadership skills are essential for success in this dynamic education role.
We are looking to appoint experienced healthcare educators who can deliver clinical education programmes for the patient facing ambulance workforce. Clinical Education Practitioners deliver programmes including EMT1 Apprenticeships (Level 4 Diploma), Paramedic clinical inductions and PTS clinical inductions. The role also supports wider trust education activities.
We are looking for self‑motivated, energetic, accomplished healthcare educators who hold relevant educator/assessor qualifications and experience of developing the healthcare workforce. Candidates will have proven experience in training delivery and assessment in a healthcare field, which can translate into ambulance education practice.
Ideal candidates will have experience of working in emergency/urgent care and can demonstrate a strong patient care focus. Candidates should understand the education requirements of RQF Level 4 and knowledge of Ofsted's EIF and how this informs excellence in teaching practice; this would be an advantage.
We welcome applications from paramedics, EMTs as well as nursing and AHP educators.
We are looking for a dynamic clinical education practitioner who can deliver a high standard of both emergency/urgent care practice and clinical induction training to our patient facing workforce.
We have three training sites within our region and while the role will primarily be based in CAM and the Liverpool area, there will be some travel expected as part of the role.
If you have the knowledge, skills and experience as well as a passion for high quality education, we would like to hear from you.
The recruitment process will contain a number of assessment processes that will evaluate your suitability for the post, including teaching skills, values and behaviours, and the ability to work as part of our education team. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take part in an assessment centre; dates of this will be confirmed in due course.
The Trust reserves the right to close this vacancy early if a large number of applications are received.
