Overview

Job Title: Clinical Director

Salary: Up to £80,000 FTE (DOE)

Location: Maggie and Marlow Vets, Kidderminster

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, over 4 days and 1:3 Saturday mornings

Our Team

You’ll be joining a dedicated team including a Practice Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager, and an experienced team of Vets and Nurses, all committed to compassionate care and collaborative working.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Clinical Director who combines outstanding clinical ability with inspirational leadership. You will bring vision, drive and compassion to the role, helping us shape the future of our practice.

  • Provide exemplary leadership and set clear direction for the practice and the senior team.
  • Deliver and develop frameworks that drive consistent progress against the business plan.
  • Champion clinical excellence and support strategic initiatives that enhance client experience and patient care.
  • Support team development, engagement, and long-term retention.
  • Lead by example as a role model and motivator, ideally with experience in a KPI-led clinical or non-clinical environment.
  • Bring strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to solving challenges and driving business performance.

The role blends leadership with hands-on clinical work. You’ll continue to undertake consultations, surgery, diagnostics, and in-patient care while mentoring and coaching colleagues to help them excel.
