Job summary

CPL Life Sciences in Central London is seeking an experienced Clinical Development Lead to shape and deliver clinical development programmes across a portfolio of neurological diseases, with a focus on advanced therapies.

In this hybrid role you will progress clinical-stage programmes through late-stage development, evidence generation, market entry and launch readiness, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer in a lean, entrepreneurial biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in clinical development within biotechnology.
• Strong knowledge of late-stage clinical development (Phase II/III).
• Experience leading evidence-generation and launch-readiness activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute clinical development plans aligned with strategy.
• Lead Phase II/III trial design and protocol development.
• Provide input into regulatory submissions and CTA applications.
• Develop evidence-generation strategies extending beyond trials for market access.
• Collaborate with regulators, physicians and HTA bodies.
• Lead ongoing medical data review and interpretation of emerging evidence.
• Support budget development and forecasting for clinical programmes.
• Collaborate across Clinical Ops, Regulatory, Medical and Commercial teams.
