Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Care Home Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead to support the General Manager, lead a multidisciplinary team, and uphold our high standards of care. You will supervise clinical practice, drive regulatory compliance, and develop strategies to improve residents' quality of life.

With an RN/RMN registration and a teaching/mentoring qualification, you will mentor staff, manage safeguarding and risk assessments, contribute to budget planning, and support growth in sales

Qualifications

• RN/RMN registration with NMC is required.
• Teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification is required.
• Experience with safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments is important.
• HR experience, plus understanding of budget management, sales and marketing, and supporting preceptees, is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead in the absence of the General Manager.
• Support delivery of high-quality care and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Set and monitor standards through audits, supervision, and regulatory compliance checks.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve goals and improve resident quality of life.
