Overview

Responsibilities
Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining accurate medication records.
  • Manage staffing levels through efficient rota management, ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
  • Develop strong relationships with local partners, liaising to enhance the care home's profile.
  • Champion independence, choice, and dignity by delivering the highest quality care.
  • Qualifications
    • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to the NMC Code of Conduct.
    • Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
    • An effective communicator capable of building strong relationships with residents and families.
    • A natural leader experienced in mentoring teams, delegating, and promoting excellent customer service.
    • Excellent time‑management and prioritisation skills.
    • Respectful and compassionate team player committed to giving personal best.
    Compensation and Time

    Salary: up to £47,136, depending on experience.

    Employment: Permanent, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.

    Your starter bonus will be paid to you in the next available pay run once you have completed four weeks' service, subject to deductions for tax and NI.
