Job Description :

Clinical Deputy Manager

Druid Stoke Care Home 31 Druid Stoke Avenue Bristol BS9 1DE.

Salary: Up to 50,960 per annum – Depending on experience.

Contract: Permanent – 40 hours per week.

Typical hours: Monday to Friday. Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
  • With the help of your team, create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up-to-date medication records.
  • Ensure correct staffing levels through efficient management of rotas and maintain adequate staffing within the home.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, drawing on clinical experience, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
  • Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, and foster a sense of community within the home.
  • Develop strong relationships with local partners and liaise with them to raise the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
Key Skills / Qualifications
  • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and ongoing professional development.
  • Understand the benefits of high-quality nursing care and champion independence, choice and dignity by delivering the best possible care.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
  • Effective communicator able to build strong and honest relationships with residents and their families.
