Job summary

Imperial College London is seeking an experienced data programmer to own data management activities for complex clinical trials. You will develop Python and SQL scripts, work with OpenClinica and REDCap, and drive API integration to improve data quality and trial delivery.

You will collaborate with trial teams, ensure GCP compliance and data protection, and contribute to a world-leading research environment with a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computing, health informatics, data science or related field.
• Experience using clinical data management systems and EDC platforms in trials.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support data management across the full trial lifecycle for assigned studies.
• Develop and maintain scripts for data validation, quality control, and reporting.
• Work with EDC systems (OpenClinica, REDCap) to support trials.
• Collaborate with trial teams to meet timelines and ensure compliance with GCP and data protection.
