Following a detailed review of the Trust's Clinical Coding Service, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the department for full‑time ACC qualified coder with enthusiasm and motivation to join our extremely busy Clinical Coding Department. The post holder will be responsible for the clinical coding of all acute specialties, abstracting clinical data from patient records and translating it into diagnostic (ICD10) and procedure (OPCS) coding classifications.

You will adopt a flexible and adaptable approach, striving to create accurate coded data that meets national clinical coding standards, rules and conventions.
