A healthcare organisation in Sidcup seeks a Clinical Charge Nurse (Band 6) to support ward management in acute and crisis settings. This role involves leading clinical practices, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high-quality evidence-based care. Candidates must be registered with the NMC and demonstrate strong leadership abilities. The position requires a commitment to professional development and entails operating a shift rota, including nights and weekends.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of substantive posts at Clinical Charge Nurse (Band 6) in our Acute and Crisis directorate. Vacancies exist in a number of our wards including Millbrook Ward (mixed gender) at Woodlands unit. All wards are approximately 20 beds and care for adults of all ages in crisis requiring psychological and pharmaceutical interventions.
Your professional and personal development will include further postgraduate study and you will be encouraged and supported by your line manager to undertake Master’s programmes.
