Job summary

Leaders in Oncology Care in London is seeking a Clinical Case Manager (Pre-Authorisation) to join our Case Management team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will assess pre-authorisation requests for complex cancer treatments, collaborate with consultants, nursing teams and insurers, and ensure reviews meet national standards and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC as an Adult Nurse with post-registration experience.
• Extensive inpatient bedside nursing in adult and paediatric services.
• Senior clinical experience at Band 6 or above with leadership and coordination.
• Proven ability to lead complex clinical decisions and coordinate care across stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-authorisation requests for complex treatments and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct clinical reviews using evidence-based standards and escalate where needed.
• Assess medical necessity and level of care, recommending to physicians and directors.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, provider networks and payors to coordinate plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support quality improvement.
