Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Administrator to join our established administration team in the Liaison Psychiatry Team based in Sheffield. Our team prides itself on being a group of experienced, supportive, and motivated individuals, with the ability to motivate and influence others, suggest, and implement ideas to improve service performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to our multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
  • Organise and prioritise clinical admin duties and offer support to consultants and other medics, including taking referrals from a number of professionals over the telephone.
  • Take clear factual notes for inputting into the electronic patient record; listening skills are paramount for the role.
  • Use the full Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the RiO system to full advantage.
  • Apply IT best practice to ensure high quality management information and administration systems are in place.
  • Support safeguarding adults and children and undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check; the cost of the DBS check will be met by the successful applicant.
Qualifications
  • At least 12 months on your visa at the start of employment for training and operational reasons; SHSC is unable to provide sponsorship.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and ability to collaborate with partnership agencies.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic patient record systems.
