Job summary

The Climbing Hangar Sheffield is seeking a friendly, customer-facing crew member who can chat to climbers and coffee drinkers. You’ll help newbies get set up on their first climb, assist with coaching for adults and kids, and even learn barista skills.

You will work daytimes, evenings and weekends with a set rota, enjoying unlimited free climbs for you and a buddy, cafe discounts, and 28 days of holiday per year. We offer training and wellbeing support, and DBS checks as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Basic DBS is required for this role.
• Right to work in the UK must be demonstrated.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Saying hi to climbers and coffee drinkers.
• Helping newbies get set up on their first climb.
• Offering a helping hand for adult and kids coaching.
• Making coffees and using barista skills (training provided).
• Keeping the area clean, tidy and safe.
