Nuvo Hiring in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to manage a portfolio of clients and support the development of the wider team. This role blends client management, accountancy, advisory and leadership in a hybrid, 4-day week setup.

You will act as a trusted adviser, delivering commercially focused financial guidance, ensuring work is accurate and timely, while mentoring junior staff and engaging with senior leadership.

Formación

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent required, with 5+ years in practice.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge and advisory mindset.
• Experience preparing management accounts and VAT work.
• Mentor or manage junior staff preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their main point of contact.

• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Ensure high standards of compliance and client service.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on client strategy.

We're looking for an experienced Business Services Manager to join a growing professional services business, managing a portfolio of clients while supporting the development of the wider team.

This is a varied, client-facing role combining client management, accountancy, advisory and team leadership.

The Role

You'll act as a trusted adviser to your clients, understanding their businesses and providing commercially focused financial advice, while ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time.

You’ll:

• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their main point of contact
• Build strong, long-term client relationships
• Provide advice around tax planning, cash flow and business growth
• Prepare and review management accounts and VAT work
• Identify opportunities for additional services and advisory work
• Support the review of annual accounts alongside the Associate Partner
• Manage workflow and ensure deadlines are met
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Act as a technical point of contact for the wider team
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Ensure high standards of compliance and client service

What We're Looking For

You'll be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 5 years' experience within an accountancy practice.

You’ll bring:

• Strong experience managing a portfolio of clients

• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Commercial and advisory mindset
• Experience preparing and reviewing management accounts
• Good knowledge of tax and VAT
• Experience mentoring or managing junior staff
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive approach to problem-solving

Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage would be advantageous.
